1.Recap chapter two and discuss vocabulary as we go. 2. Finish reading chapter two and begin rising action and more of Lighthouse George's character traits. 3. Setting can now be completed . . . 4. Begin chapters one and two comprehension questions 5. REMEMBER . . . quiz Wednesday |

Lunch today: Pizza, 3 Meat Sub or Cherry Blossom Stir Fry
1. Chapters one and two vocabulary, context clues, and elements of narrative review in collaborative teams. 2. When finished with collaborative work, students can choose a study for tomorrow's quiz. |

Lunch today: Pizza, Turkey Sub or Tacos
1. Turn in comprehension questions then go over them as a review. 2. Quizlet Live - three individual practice sessions then team-up three times to earn bonus points. 3. When finished, students should finish the vocabulary on their vocab sheet - mused (muse), goading (goad), and mundane. This is homework if not finished in class because we need to read chapter three tomorrow. |

Lunch today: Pizza, Hamburger or Bacon Cheeseburger
1. Hand back chapters 1 & 2 quizzes and clarify any questions. Students did a wonderful job on this first quiz; I AM SO PROUD OF THEM! ;) 2. Vocab definitions discussed in context while we read.
3. Following chapter three read-aloud, students/student teams need to do the following:
