Connection made between "concentrated" poetry and "diluted" prose. Stanza lines/verses and rhyme scheme Triplet = three line stanza with AAA rhyme scheme; all three lines have the same rhyme scheme. Tercet = three line stanza without rhyme . Our first poem - Haiku - is a tercet. See G.C. for copy of document. |

I AM SO PROUD OF THE EFFORTS SO MANY OF YOU PUT INTO POEM #1! Keep it up; you will ace this unit with flying colors! Haiku is due tomorrow for 1st, 3rd, and 4th hours (6th and 7th hours have until Thursday because they missed class due to being outside yesterday. The Cinquain poem is due on Thursday for every hour. See G.C. for copy of Cinquain document. I will introduce poem #3 tomorrow! |
