1. Review skill introduced on Friday via IXL for the first seven-ten minutes ONLY - Group Jam to lead us into our lesson. USE the filling in the gaps record sheet for the allusion skill that I will announce in class.. 2. Back to notes. Today's assignments will be to identify groups of words into categories: "To be..." or "Not to be..." The groups of words will either be sentences or not. 3. Khan assignment due before your class time tomorrow. LUNCH MENU: Monday, September 11th - Pizza, Hamburger or Taquito |

NWEA testing continues . . . Science NWEA will be today during 1st and 2nd hours.
***You NEED your scissors, colored pencils/crayons, and glue STICKS! *** Interactive notes.... Students should be just about finished with their Words Often Confused assignment for testing days THIS was NOT HOMEWORK UNTIL tonight if students did not adequately budget their time over the past week . . . The Words Often Confused will be collected by my guest teacher tomorrow. LUNCH MENU: Tuesday, September 12th - Pizza, 3 Meat Sub or Chicken Alfredo |

1. IXL for the first seven-ten minutes ONLY - choose next lowest skill and continue to climb out of that learning gap. Begin using the filling in the gaps record sheet.

2. Continue from Wed. with your Colorado River assignment.. Your job now is to take all of the non-sentences and combine them with the sentences to create a coherent, fluent paragraph . . . NO numbers; just write the paragraph out in sentences.
